He studied at the École des Arts Appliqués in Paris, later moving to Vallauris in 1946 where he co-founded Atelier Callis, a ceramics workshop. Capron's work, which included decorative tiles, sculptures, and tableware, is characterized by its high quality, elegant designs, and often features geometric or stylized motifs.
